Below are words from our Chief Data Officer Nathan LeClair. I've had the priviledge of working with many talented people in my career, and I would rank Nathan at the top of that list. He has displayed incomperable dedication, tireless work effort, impecable integrity and boundless positive energy that will be an incredible asset to him and whomever is lucky enough to work with him thoughout his career. If you ever have an opportunity to work with him, you should do everything in your power to make it a reality, as he will be the best colleague you will ever get a chance to work with. - Paul Pettengill, Founder Verbal Commits
Hello everyone, my name is Nathan LeClair. For the last four years I have worked as the Chief Data Officer of Verbal Commits. I have created countless player profiles, sent nearly 25,000 tweets, and expanded VC to D2. It’s been quite a journey seeing the site become what it is today.
As of May 15th, I can proudly say that I earned a bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University at Buffalo. It’s humbling to think that a website I worked on in my dorm has turned into such a fantastic source of information for parents, coaches, and players around the world.
I plan on working on VC for as long as I can. However, I am in the process of looking for positions within college basketball media and athletic departments throughout the country. If any followers of VC know of any positions available, please let me know.
Taking that into consideration, we are looking for people who would be interested in helping out, and possibly taking over the data input/Twitter aspect of VC. Running VC is a dream for any die hard college basketball fan; it’s a whole lot of fun and it helps thousands of people. If interested, please email me at [email protected].
Thank you for your continued support of VC.
